The Laser
fleet is large and active fleet. The
Laser is narrower than the Sunfish making it a more challenging boat for
the beginner but it is a great boat to fully develop your technical
sailing skills. Laser fleet has the following great benefits:
- Boats
are Easy to Rig up – typically just 10 minutes and you
are sailing.
- Part
are readily available – most commonly needed parts are
available via the fleet captain.
- Most
repairs easy – the boats are simple and most repairs can
be done yourself. Also the fleet captain can provide advice
on how they can be most easily accomplished.
- Regular Scheduled Racing -- races are schedule
monthly.
