Joining HMYA means joining one of the 6 fleets that make
up the club. Understanding the differences between
these fleets will help you enjoy your membership.
Each fleet has its advantages and will best suit certain
skill levels:
- Power Boat Fleet
- Fishing, Waterskiing and wakeboarding.
- Offshore Cruisers Fleet
- Large sailboats with family cruising and
competitive racing.
- Catamaran Fleet
- High speed boats with high level of technical
skill required to get the most out of the boats.
- Laser Fleet - Highly
competitive one design racing with simple light
boats.
- Sunfish Fleet - Best
beginner boat with large active fleet with great
support for learning and racing.
- Windsurfer Fleet -
For the solo speed seekers out there who like the
minimum between them and the water.
