How do I get a boat?
Boats are normally in high demand in
the region. The online classified listing provided
by Community Services is the most common method for
finding boats that are available. The club does
not provide or manage the sale of boats which is
typically handled by the owner themselves.
What are the requirements for membership?
A seaworthy boat and residing in
Dhahran are the most common requirements for membership.
Offshore fleet owners may reside in outside of Dhahran.
All membership requests are subject to review and
approval by the membership committee and available space
within the fleet, which may delay your joining the club
until a space becomes available. The membership
secretary will notify you of the status of the your
application as it is processed. See

Why do I need a Q form (boat inspection) to renew my
membership?
Having a seaworthy boat is a
condition of membership and a government requirement of
all boats operated from our facility. In addition, it
makes sense that your boat meet minimum safety
requirements. Each Fleet Captain performs the inspection
for his fleet members which normally requires the boat
to be setup in ready to set sail so that all gear can be
inspected and verified it is in good condition.
Normally the inspection requires less than 30 minutes to
perform.
How many guests can I bring to the beach?
You are allowed to bring 6 adults on
Thursdays and normal weekdays (Sat-Wed), 4 adults on Fridays
and special event days. There is no limit on children
on any day. See

I want to bring more than the limit of guests?
There is no rule allowing exceptions,
however if you have a valid reason to request an exception
you may send a request to the board at least a month in
advance of the event for consideration. Please send
the request to the safety and rules committee chairperson.
Can I bring a jet ski or wave runner to the club?
No; Jet skis and Wave Runners are not
allowed due to the safety issues. They can not be
used as a boat to qualify for membership.
